Music Duo Academy is a complete elementary music program for homeschool children from Kindergarten through 5th grade.
I guide your child through each lesson as they sing, move, clap and create rhythms, read music, play instruments, listen, play games, and build their musical understanding.
You don't have to plan the lessons, decide what to teach next, or have a music background yourself.
I've already done that part for you.

Course Options and Starting Points
New to Music Duo? Start Here.
Your child doesn't have to start with Apprentice 1 just because they're new to Music Duo.
Apprentice 1
Start here for your Kindergarten student or an older child who needs a slower, more gentle introduction to music.
Pre-Apprentice 2
An age-appropriate starting point for children entering Music Duo for the first time in 1st or 2nd grade.
Apprentice 3
A great starting point for a new 3rd grader who hasn't completed our earlier courses.
Pre-Maestro 1
A full-year course for older beginners. The first 7 lessons give students the Apprentice-level foundation they need, then they join the Maestro 1 sequence beginning with Lesson 8. It's all included in Pre-Maestro 1, so there's no second course to buy.
Our Five-Course Progression:
Pre-Apprentice 2 and Pre-Maestro 1 are age-appropriate entry paths for older beginners, not additional core courses.

What ages is Music Duo Academy for?
Music Duo Academy is for children in Kindergarten through 5th grade. A child who begins the program in 5th grade may continue into Maestro 2 the following year. We do not recommend Music Duo Academy as a starting point for a brand-new 6th grade student.
Do I need music experience?
No. I teach your child through each lesson step by step. You don't need to know how to read music or have any previous music experience.
How do I know which course my child should start with?
Your child's age and previous music experience determine the best starting point. Our Placement Wizard will help you choose.
What happens after my free trial?
There is no charge during your trial. If you decide Music Duo Academy isn't right for your family, cancel before the trial ends. Otherwise, your selected payment plan begins automatically.
Is this a subscription?
We offer both a monthly payment plan and a one-time yearly purchase, both giving you 1-year full access. All purchases start with a 2-week free trial with no charge until after your trial ends.
Can I use homeschool or charter funds?
Music Duo Academy is an approved vendor with select homeschool and charter programs. Availability varies by program and location. Contact us if you'd like help determining whether your funds can be used.
