Kindergarten level — Builds a strong music foundation with beat, rhythm, melodic contour, form (musical ideas and motives), dynamics, and tempo through singing, movement, and percussion.

For 1st–2nd graders new to music. Builds understanding of beat, rhythm, melody with hand signs, and early notation through song-based learning and guided discovery. Aligns with Apprentice 2 starting in Lesson 7.

For students who completed Apprentice 1. Strengthens rhythm and melody through singing and movement, introduces hand signs and early notation, and develops musical understanding of expression, form, and harmony through carefully sequenced, song-based learning.

Ideal for advanced 2nd or new-to-music 3rd graders. Builds melodic reading skills and introduces more complex rhythm patterns, while expanding musical understanding through harmony (rounds and drones), form, and expressive elements like dynamics and tempo—all taught through singing, movement, and instrumental play.
✨ Pre-Maestro 1
For 4th–5th grade beginners. Teaches foundational solfege, rhythm, and melodic reading skills through singing and movement, with increased use of barred percussion. Follows the same path as Maestro 1 starting in Lesson 8.
✨ Maestro 1
For students who completed Apprentice 3. Builds on previous solfege and rhythm skills with syncopation, new tonal centers, and melodic writing. Explores canon, form, and expression while strengthening ensemble playing through instruments, movement, and listening.
✨ Maestro 2
For 4th–6th graders who completed Maestro 1 or equivalent.
Maestro 2 builds confident musicians through advanced solfege, treble staff reading, complex rhythms, harmony, conducting, and expressive composition.
Students finish with the skills they need to begin an instrument, join an ensemble, or write their own music.
