Maestro 2 - One Year Access
Grow as a Musician. Lead with Confidence.
Maestro 2 is a comprehensive, self-paced course designed for 4th–6th graders who have completed Maestro 1 or have equivalent music experience. This level builds on prior learning while introducing advanced musical concepts across melody, rhythm, harmony, form, and expression.
Through 35 weeks of engaging video lessons, students will explore high do, absolute note names on the treble clef staff, ledger lines, and pentatonic scales. They'll also work with more complex rhythms—such as sixteenth note combinations, whole notes, and tied sixteenth notes—and learn to conduct in 2/4 and 4/4 time signatures.
Students will deepen their understanding of harmony by singing in rounds and partner songs, and begin identifying chord roots (I and V). They'll also discover musical forms like AB, ABA, and rondo, and learn how to craft introductions and codas in their compositions.
With a growing focus on musical expression, students will explore crescendo and diminuendo, refine their improvisation, and take their composition skills to new heights. It’s the final step in the Maestro series—and it empowers students to move forward in music with confidence, skill, and creativity.
